Sizzlin Smokehouse: Exceptional Dining Experience with Delicious Comfort Food

Turkey & ham dinner with stuffing, mash, roast potatoes, cocktail sausages, carrot, and parsnip with gravy and cranberry sauce. Absolutely exceptional!! I highly recommend it! It's definitely well worth a visit.

The food is good and the portions are large and reasonably priced. A bit too brightly lit to provide atmosphere. Very attentive service.

Good for families, good selection of food for all people, friendly and attentive staff. Incredible portion sizes, enough for even the most glutinous! Fantastic restaurant setup with a nice kids area too, which is so rare. Everyone with kids should check this out, really good for everyone even without kids too

The food was delicious and the portions large. Really enjoyed the chicken curry and the roast beef was tender and tasty. The servers are very efficient and super friendly. It's quite a large interior with lots of table space and nice decor. We ate from the early bird menu, the food was pure magic and cheap as chips. Two cracking ,tasty meals for 25 quid, now that's a brilliant deal. Right on the main street this sizzlin smokehouse is smoking hot , tasty burger good . The only critique is the toilets need refurbished. When I'm in or near Magherafelt, this is the eating house for me. Good food, good people.

Average, middle of the road - nothing wrong with it but nothing exciting about it. It was £60 for one starter, 2 mains , one dessert and 2 sparkling waters. Starter - smoky spicy king prawn - nothing smoky or spicy about either. It was really weird - a creamy liquid , king prawns were fine but no flavour. And randomly some rice thrown in 5/10. Mains - king prawn and chorizo linguine - lovely but had no chorizo at all. 7.5/10 Beer battered cod and chips - very generous portion and chips were really good. 8/10. Dessert - sizzlin sundae / 3 flavours of ice cream you would literally buy in Iceland or home bargains. Fake strawberry ice cream. A bit of sauce and squirty cream. Very poor . Like something you’d give a child 15 years ago in a restaurant . 3/10. Staff were lovely but the lighting is far too bright in here and no privacy at all. They only have one beer on draft. Would not be in a rush back unless we were stuck for somewhere to go. For the price you could make way better at home. Mains were decent but everything else was poor.
